Fewer people in the North West are being seriously or fatally injured at work, according to figures for 2009/10 released by HSE today (Wednesday 27 October).
There were 3,215 major workplace injuries recorded in the region last year, compared to 3,321 in 2008/9, and 19 deaths – four fewer than the previous year.
