Noise Action Week 2011 is 23-27 May

Most of us have been woken or annoyed by too much noise, research shows that noise impacts on the well-being of one in 100 people. Many noise problems are sorted out by simple solutions – turning it down, being more considerate and just being a bit quieter.

Noise Action Week gives communities and organisations around the UK the opportunity to get involved in highlighting solutions to noise problems, raising awareness of the impacts that excessive noise has on communities and individuals, and to have fun while doing it.
