Yorkshire and the Humber: a safer place to work

Fewer people across Yorkshire and the Humber are being seriously or fatally injured through their work, according to figures released today (27 October) by HSE.

There were 2,635 major workplace injuries recorded in the region last year, compared to 2,863 in 2008/9, and 23 deaths – one fewer than the previous year.
